Alternative text editors

Many of us know only one text editor and that is the ever so popular Notepad that comes with every Windows operating system. A text editor like Notepad is a very powerful tool. Notepad++ is a free source code and text editor that replaces Windows Notepad. It supports several languages. Notepad2 is a fast and light-weight Notepad-like text editor with syntax highlighting. The software can be run out of the box with no installation and does not touch a computers registry.
